I checked the release notes for known issues -
I checked the existing issues -
I checked that the issue is not related to my instance configuration, and that my instance has the latest version of pixelfed
Describe step by step how to reproduce the bug, include screenshots if possible.
I can't start the new Alpha3 version. What I've done so far:
- Just install alpha3 over alpha2
- Delete alpha2, then install alpha3
- Wipe data, then delete alpha2, then install alpha3
- Data folders are removed every time
- installing alpha2 works fine

Room cannot verify the data integrity. Looks like you've changed schema but forgot to update the version number. You can simply fix this by increasing the version number. For this, stackoverflow suggests, that it is possible that the android auto backup is restoring the old database on install.
Thank you for your nice work. André
